Adults

We’d love to help you find a place to belong and there are multiple ways to connect with others and with spiritual growth at Lake Forest Church.

Community Groups

We’d love for everyone at Lake Forest to get plugged into community. One of the big ways to do this is by joining a community group, which is a small family centered on “doing life together.” What does that mean?

Community groups are an environment where we celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another during the tough and disappointing times. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become a mature follower of Jesus Christ.

We believe that this is the place where significant life transformation occurs and we encourage everyone who calls Lake Forest Church home to join a community group. Find out more…

20s Group
First Sunday of each month, 12pm at Brooklyn South Pizzeria in Cornelius

For college grads through 29, married and single folks! Contact Brandon Piner 20s@lakeforest.org for more information.

Support Groups

CARE Support exists to serve the needs of those who are in “special care” situations. Many of these situations go beyond the scope of what the Community Group can provide. Here you can find support groups and counseling services.

Women’s Ministry

Bible Studies: Oasis groups are a great place to get to know other women, to get refreshed spiritually, to explore and grow in faith. They are a place to belong (no matter your age or stage of life); to believe (no matter where you are in your spiritual journey); and to become (all that God has created you to be!).

Our women’s team also plans special retreats and gatherings throughout the year.

Men’s Ministry

Bible Studies: Studies are offered throughout the week and meet at various places including Lake Forest Church, Brueggers Bagels and the Gallaway Hooker Pub.

Our men’s team also plans retreats, sports outings and participates in athletic leagues throughout the year.
